Attorney Robert A. Carichoff Attended CAALA Annual Convention

Attorney Robert A. Carichoff recently participated in the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA)’s Annual Las Vegas Convention!

The CAALA convention is the largest convention of trial attorneys in the United States. The 2019 convention was its 37^th year — the event has been held in Las Vegas every year since 1983. This year’s convention was held over Labor Day weekend, from Thursday, August 29^th to Sunday, September 1^st.

Lawyers who attended the conference had the chance to gain up to 20 hours of continuing education credits. Over the weekend, 20 educational panels and courses were presented by over 120 trial lawyers, jurists, and other legal experts. Topics that were discussed during these seminars include voir dire, insurance bad faith, employment law, opening statements, and closing statements, as well as the presentations “Bringing Invisible Injuries to Life” and “Trials & Tribulations: What it Takes to be Successful at Trial.” The event also featured cocktail parties to network with the over 2,800 other participants, and learn about different legal services from more than 140 vendors.

The Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles is a collective of plaintiff lawyers that provides its approximately 4,000 members with continuing education courses, networking events, and other professional development programs.
