What Is Walk like MADD?
Walk like MADD events are held throughout the year in several communities throughout the country. Walk like MADD events involve people participating as individuals or as a team in a charity walk. Donors sponsor the individuals and teams participating in the walks, which allows the events to generate funds that MADD uses in its quest to eliminate drugged and drunk driving nationwide.
This year’s Sacramento Walk like MADD event took place on Saturday, October 15 at 9:00 am in Maidu Park in Roseville. The event raised $91,419, which was well above the goal amount of $52,000.
